A few things to keep in mind.

Every Dehradun guitar begins with careful listening…first, to you as the player. We’ll design your instrument for your playing style, to strike the best possible balance between responsiveness and structure, then craft with extraordinary care.

Commissioning a guitar is a considered decision. If you’re ready to begin, a deposit secures your place in our build schedule and allows us to start shaping an instrument around your preferences.

  • We build with the most highly-resonant woods available, like rosewood, wenge, spruce and western red cedar. If youʼre not sure what you want, weʼll gladly walk you through the process of choosing the right woods for your guitar.

    Occasionally a client will request we custom-source a specific tonewood and we can do that. We have the best results when we build with wood that has acclimated to our shop for as long as possible. So, if we go that route, please be prepared for a slightly longer delivery timeline.

  • A deposit of ₹70,000 ($1,000 USD for export orders) secures your place in the build schedule. Deposits are fully applied to the final price of your guitar.

    At our current pace, most instruments are ready for delivery about six months after the design is finalized. Occasionally we receive more orders than we can complete on that timeline; when that happens we may pause new commissions until we can give every player the time and focus they deserve.
